BEAUTIFUL DAY - NEW SINGLE

Barbara's brand new single from the forthcoming album, 'Perfectly Designed,' is now available to download or stream now through all major platforms.

Barbara's new single, 'Beautiful Day,' written by Julie Matthews is now available and it can be streamed or downloaded on all major music platforms including iTunes, Spotify and YouTube. See the links below to listen to or to download the song.

Barbara says of the release:

This is my first single since 'Where Shadows Meet The Light,' from the 'Time Is Going Faster' album. It's a beautiful track by Julie whom many of you will be familiar with from her work with Chris While. I first recorded it for 'The Ballads of the Great War' for the BBC in 2015 and it's about the RSS Lusitania, which was sunk by a German U-boat off Ireland in May 1915 with the loss of over 1,000 passengers and crew.

I've always loved the song but it has never been released until now. It was recently suggested to me that I curate a collection of my work from 2004 to the present day, choosing my favourite tracks and those which have been most important to me. Whilst looking back over my recordings during that period, I came across this song and I very much wanted to include it. I'm very happy that it's finally getting a wider release and I hope that people will love it as much as I do!"
