Barbara's 1982 album makes its debut on CD with a two-disc 40th Anniversary Special Edition.
In 1982, Barbara released her album, 'All For A Song', featuring four previous hit singles together with eight new tracks produced by Mike Batt, Alan Tarney and Barbara herself. Backed by an extensive TV advertising campaign, the album went on to sell over half a million copies and spent 38 weeks in the UK album charts.
As with Barbara's other albums for Epic Records, 'Heartbeats' and 'Here We Go... Live On Tour,' various rights issues have always prevented the release of 'All For A Song' on CD. With those issues finally resolved, the album finally makes its debut on CD, 40 years after its original release.
The 'All For A Song' Special Edition is available via Barbara's website as a two-disc set, digitally remastered from the original CBS master tapes and featuring over 20 bonus tracks from the archives, all but two of which have never been released before in any format.
