As well as reaching # 11 on the UK chart, 'January February' also became a Top 20 single in Germany and South Africa.

 

Singer Mary Roos recorded a German language version of the song, 'Wenn Ich Dich Nicht Halten Kann', in the same year.

 

The B-Side of 'January February', 'Island In The Snow' (also produced by Alan Tarney) never featured on any of Barbara's albums but was finally released as a bonus track on the 2012 CD re-release of 'The Barbara Dickson Album'/'You Know It's Me'.
