1994 - The "Parcel Of Rogues" album is released by Castle in                 March - it reaches UK # 30.
          Barbara does extensive TV and radio promotion for the                 album.
          She tours the UK twice in Spring and Autumn.
1995 - The album "Dark End Of The Street" is released.
          Barbara appears in 3 episodes of the STV crime series                 "Taggart".
          She also stars as Anita in Kay Mellor's 6-part TV series               "Band Of Gold".
          In September Barbara performs a handful of UK live dates             and she is invited to perform another season at the Cafe               Royal's Green Room in London.
          Filming begins on a second run of "Band Of Gold".
1996 - The second series of "Band Of Gold" is screened on ITV.
          Barbara also films "The Missing Postman" for the BBC to             be screened early in 1997.
          Barbara's embarks on her first major UK concert tour                     since 1994.
1997 - Barbara travels to Australia to star in the Melbourne                     production of "Chess".
          Back in the UK, she tours with her new one-woman show             "The 7 Ages Of Woman".
          In September Barbara switches on the Blackpool                         Illuminations
          Barbara records a new comedy series "Dinnerladies" for               BBC Radio 4 - it is transmitted during October and                       November.
          The Liverpool Arts and Entertainment Awards honour                     Barbara as Best Actress In Theatre for "The 7 Ages Of                 Woman".
1998 - Barbara tours the UK in the play "Friends Like This".
          The cast album recording of "The 7 Ages Of Woman" is                 followed by another UK tour of the show.
          Barbara is the subject of the long-running "This Is Your                 Life" show.
1999 - Barbara tours the UK in the musical "A Slice Of Saturday             Night".
          She then begins work on the new musical "Spend Spend               Spend" - it opens at the Piccadilly Theatre in London in                 October.
2000 - Barbara continues to star in "Spend Spend Spend" and                 records the original cast album.
          She wins the Best Actress in a Musical award at the                     Olivier Awards - the award is presented live on stage by                 Michael Ball.
          Barbara also wins the Variety Club Best Actress in a                   Musical award.
          The end of the year sees her performing a mini-tour of the             UK.
          In December Barbara is back in Liverpool to reprise her                 role in "Blood Brothers" at the Liverpool Empire.
2001 - Barbara's year is taken up by an extensive UK tour of                   "Spend Spend Spend".
