Hailing from Workington in Cumbria, Troy is a multi-instrumentalist whose speciality is the Uilleann pipes. His career began as frontman with folk rock band You Slosh, who gained considerable popularity for their live performances, and the group released two albums before splitting in 1992. Troy then began to work with Barbara, playing on several of her tours and playing on 1994's 'Parcel Of Rogues' album, and 'Dark End Of The Street' the following year. Since then Troy has worked with artists including Midge Ure and Status Quo and co-produced two albums for Maddy Prior of Steeleye Span fame. He is a member of folk/rock band Iona, has recorded two solo albums and has recently produced Barbara's latest "Full Circle" album.
PETE ZORN
Multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Pete was born in Pennsylvania, USA and became a professional musician whilst still at high school. He began doing gigs at folk clubs, playing guitar, bass and mandolin and playing with local rock and soul bands. Extensive touring across the US followed, and in 1970 he helped establish vocal group FF&Z which relocated to London. Pete stayed in the UK after the band's demise and began workng with Barbara in 1974 on "John Paul George Ringo...& Bert" - he has been a familiar face on several of Barbara's albums and tours ever since. Pete has also performed with a wealth of artists including Joan Armatrading, Gerry Rafferty and Chris While and Julie Matthews, and he is also a member of the band Waz!
Drummer Russell started his career in dance and theatre groups, before going on to work with numerous bands including Vibraphone, The Sect, Funky Button, The Dharmas and Steadman. In 1997 he joined Midge Ure's band, playing gigs and TV shows across Europe and he has continued to perform regularly with Midge ever since.
Russell continues to work with Steadman, now based in Los Angeles, and in addition to his work with Barbara he has also recently joined Brit Award winner Blair Mackichan for many live shows.
BRAD LANG
Bass player and vocalist Brad Lang is an occasional player with the group Ash. He has also worked with a wide range of artists and groups including Judie Tzuke, Robbie Williams, Toyah, John Parr and Ray Charles. He was bass player for the hugely-successful pop group ABC on many of their classic albums, and was a member of the band Jet Red in the late 80's. More recently he has been playing with Enigma (alongside Neil Drinkwater). Other artists that Brad has worked with over the years include Bonnie Tyler, Elkie Brooks, Gilbert O'Sullivan, Whitney Houston and Kylie Minogue.
Nick is a successful singer/songwriter and keyboard player whose songs have been released on a number of albums throughout Europe. In the 80's he had a publishing deal in America where he lived for three years. Upon his return to the UK he started a long association with Maddy Prior of Steeleye Span fame, co-writing, producing and touring five albums with her. More recently Nick has appeared on Troy Donockley's album 'The Unseen Stream' and sang the duet 'Across The Hills' with Barbara on her album Full Circle.
Nick is also a member of the band Darwins Wish and is currently working on an album due for release later this year.
