NEW DVD RELEASE
'Barbara Dickson: Che Faro' is set to be released on DVD by Gonzo Multimedia on April 8th, and is now available to pre-order here.
The DVD features Barbara's acclaimed 'The South Bank Show' 1986 television special, in which, alongside some of her best-known songs, Barbara tackles a classical repertoire with style - and surprising results!
2013 TOUR
The full itinerary for Barbara's 'To Each and Everyone' tour later this year has just been announced. Barbara and her band will be touring throughout the UK between October and November. Tickets are already on sale for some venues, with others due to go on sale shortly - full details are available on the Concerts page.
'TO EACH AND EVERYONE'
The title of Barbara's next studio album, to be released later this year, has been confirmed as 'To Each and Everyone'. The album will be a selection of songs written and recorded by Barbara's friend, the singer/songwriter Gerry Rafferty, who passed away in 2011. Barbara has confirmed that she has already started work on the album, which is being produced and arranged by Troy Donockley. The album is due for release in September and will coincide with a major UK autumn tour.
B4 SEVENTY FOUR - THE FOLKCLUB TAPES
Barbara's new 'archive' CD is now available to order on Barbara's own Chariot Music CD label. Entitled 'B4 Seventy-Four: The Folk Club Tapes', the double CD release, produced by Rab Noakes, features forty early recordings by Barbara, none of which have ever been available before, and is distributed by Gonzo. THE BARGEE'S WIFE
Barbara is to star in the opera 'The Bargee's Wife' as part of this year's Three Choirs Festival at Gloucester Cathedral on Sunday August 4th, 2013. Tickets are on sale to the general public from April 18th. More information can be found at the Festival website here
