CHARITY AUCTION - 18/09/2016
Barbara is auctioning the hat which she wore on the cover of her single, 'Keeping My Love For You' and the album 'Barbara Dickson - The Love Songs' for charity. All proceeds will benefit Fife Headway, of which Barbara is patron, helping people with brain injuries. The hat was also worn on one of Barbara's 'Two Ronnies' appearances (see the video here). BRITISH LIBRARY RECORDINGS - 18/09/2016
Several rare folk club recordings of Barbara from 1973 have recently come to light in the British Library collection and are all now available online on the British Library website. Originally recorded by Bill Leader, the set includes 'November Afternoon,' 'We Are The People' and 'River Forth Oyster Fishing Song'. (With thanks to David Horbury).

GRASS ROOTS MUSIC - 12/09/2016
'Grass Roots Music,' STV's long-running music series, has just filmed a 30 minute special about Barbara and her music which is expected to be broadcast later this year. Although only available in Scotland it will also be available online through STV's online catch-up service.
POINTLESS CELEBRITIES - 11/09/2016
Barbara's appearance on 'Pointless Celebrities' is now available to watch online via BBC iPlayer. Barbara guests alongside Fish from the band Marillion, with other contestants including Toyah, Nick Heywood, Heather Small and Mari Wilson.

LUMINATE FESTIVAL - 08/09/2016
Barbara will be taking part in the Luminate Festival at Dunfermline Art Station Creative on 18th October in aid of the Nordoff Robbins Scotland charity.
LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD - 04/09/2016
Barbara is to be inducted into the Scots Trad Awards Hall of Fame later this year. Commenting on the announcement, Barbara said she was "thrilled and honoured" at the news. The awards will take place at Dundee's Caird Hall on December 3rd, 2016 - tickets are now available online here
ISLE OF MAN SHOWS - SOLD OUT - 04/09/2016
Both of Barbara's recently-announced concerts at the Peel Centenary Centre on the Isle of Man on Friday 21st and Saturday, 22nd April 2017 have both now sold out.
BARBARA DICKSON LIVE 1976/1977 - 19/08/2016
A new DVD and CD set is to be released on September 30th, featuring two classic late 70's TV concerts by Barbara and her band. Never previously released on any format, the shows, from late 1976 and early 1977, feature songs from Barbara's 'Answer Me' and 'Morning Comes Quickly' albums. The release features both concerts on DVD with the soundtracks remastered as a bonus audio CD.

THRO' THE RECENT YEARS/ORFEO - 19/08/2016
Barbara's 1970 folk album recorded for Decca Records, 'Thro' the Recent Years - The Folk Experiences of Archie Fisher and Barbara Dickson,' will be released on CD by Gonzo Multimedia on 21st October. The album has previously been re-released in Japan, but this release marks the first time that the album has been available on CD in the UK. In addition, Archie Fisher's album, 'Orfeo', which he recorded for Decca Records in 1970 featuring Barbara on backing vocals, will be released on 28th October.
A SHIRT BOX FULL OF SONGS - 03/08/2016
Barbara is currently working on a revised and updated version of her autobiography, 'A Shirt Box Full of Songs', which will be published in paperback for the first time early in 2017.
IRISH TOUR - NOVEMBER 2016 - 03/08/2016
Barbara will be playing several live dates in Ireland this November with her long-term keyboard player Nick Holland. Dates for Enniskillen, Coleraine, Waterford, Armagh, Newtownabbey and Mullingar are already on sale and a new date at The Helix in Dublin has just been announced for Saturday, 19th November. BARBARA DICKSON - IN GOOD COMPANY - 02/08/2016
Full dates have now been announced for Barbara's 2017 UK tour, 'In Good Company.' Barbara, together with her full band, will be playing 22 dates across the country beginning on February 1st, 2017. Details of all the shows and booking details can be found on the Tour page. Most dates on now on general sale with the remainder due to go on sale shortly.
USA CONCERTS 2016 - 08/07/2016
Barbara has been invited to return to the USA this Autumn to play live at the Big Stone Gap Festival in Virginia. Full details will be announced shortly. In addition Barbara will be playing live at the Lincoln Theater in Marion, Virginia, on September 30th with special guest Sigean. LIMITED EDITION THEATRE BOX SET - 20/03/2016
A strictly limited edition numbered box set of Barbara's theatre work, 'Barbara Dickson - More Brecht Than Broadway: The Complete Theatre Recordings, 1974 - 2000' is now available.
The set contains four individual CDs - 'John Paul George Ringo... & Bert' (appearing on CD for the first time ever,) 'Blood Brothers,' 'The 7 Ages of Woman' and 'Spend Spend Spend,' all featuring extensive liner notes, an introduction from Barbara and extracts from the original theatre programmes for all four productions.
The set is limited to 1000 copies only and will not be reprinted. The first 500 copies have been individually signed by Barbara and the set is available exclusively from Gonzo Multimedia - click here to order
