Two of Barbara's early folk albums which were recorded for Decca Records in the early 70's have just been re-released on CD and are now available to order.
'Do Right Woman', Barbara's first solo album from 1970, and 1971's 'From The Beggar's Mantle...Fringed With Gold' are featured together on a single CD, complete with original artwork, and available through the Vocalion label priced at £9.99 (plus postage).
DO RIGHT WOMAN features 12 great tracks, including the original version of 'The Garton Mother's Lullaby', 'Easy To Be Hard' (from the musical 'Hair'), James Taylor's 'Something's Wrong' and the classic traditional song 'The Blacksmith'.
The ten tracks on FROM THE BEGGAR'S MANTLE include the traditional songs 'Fine Flowers In The Valley' and 'Recruited Collier', Archie Fisher's 'Witch of the Westmorelands' and Alan Hull's haunting 'Winter's Song'
