MY STUFF: BARBARA DICKSON
What's your mobile phone?
I have a Nokia mobile without a camera - I never used it on my last phone.
What is your signature scent?
I don't have a signature perfume but I just love Eau de Charlotte by Annick Goutal for evenings.
What brand of underwear do you favour?
I like bras from Rigby & Peller. They're expensive but they sure do the trick. No decent woman ever wore a thong.
What sheets are on your bed?
Cotton sheets, usually Egyptian, and antique pillowcases.
What car do you drive?
A Mercedes C230K. It's a really nice car and fun to drive.
Favourite Champagne?
I used to like Cristal, but I don't drink now.
Brand of coffee?
I buy Fairtrade instant coffee and have one cup after my breakfast. I'm really a tea drinker.
Which magazine is always on your coffee table?
I don't buy magazines apart from the one that comes with the weekend paper.
Stereo or iPod?
I've got an iPod but haven't set it up. I've also got a CD player in my car.
Cubic zirconium or diamonds?
My favourite piece of jewellery is a diamond cross my husband gave me for Christmas. I love wearing it.
Superdrug or Estée Lauder?
I use Terax hair products. They are good for frizz.
What is your favourite piece of furniture?
My grand piano, which is a Yamaha.
Favourite bag?
I give all my bags away to the charity shop, as I want new ones all the time. I restrain myself and only buy two a year.
What is your oldest possession?
My teddy, called Big Ted, is still in my house.
Most dog-eared book?
A copy of Professor Child's Collection of Folk Songs.
What item do you wish you had never bought?
A computer. I never shouted at an inanimate object before I got switched on to computers.
Favourite nick-nack?
I have loads of small treasures, made by my three sons when they were little.
What is your favourite labour-saving device?
E-mail is fantastic.
